Osijek students helping

In an increasingly difficult time that is marked with economic crisis and high unemployment, students have always been real evidence of persistence and the will to improve the quality of life and it's conditions.

Holiday time which is at the door helps people to welcome Christmas with a smile on the faces. Osijek students have launched a humanitarian campaign, "Students help children", they will try to collect as many resources to help SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci, and this year brighten happy Christmas for children.

This humanitarian action is actually a double musical event, which will be simultaneously in two Osijek nightclub concert or party, students will be collecting money for children in Ladimirevci near Valpovo. Both events take place on the Thursday, the 17th December starting at 22 hours.

All lovers of rock music and live performances go to Tvrdja the Night Bar Pandur, where three rock groups will perform: Round About, Perpetuum Mobile, and Russian Roulette unplugged. Ticket prices for the concert are 10kn.

The second event will be in the Matrix nightclub. At this popular club, will be house party, with performance of Osijek DJs Danny and Daniel E, a musical repertoire described as vocal, electro and progressive house, packed with dance sound. The entrance to this party will also be 10kn, and the advance sale of tickets for events will be in both clubs.

The main initiator of this humanitarian action is the student organization AIESEC Osijek, which is with general sponsor Osijek Graphics brought this project to realization. With the general sponsor is worth to mention the other participants with good will who have contributed to this action: Night Bar Pandur, Club Matrix, Unia design, Fotokopi fax, Osijek television, web Osijek031 and bands and DJs.

We hope that this action will cause a great deal of interest, especially young people, who will be able to use this opportunity to have fun and do good thing.

Volunteers from A1 Croatia plant maple trees in our Village

They brought the maple tree saplings, shovels and potting soil and as soon as they had their morning coffee, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work in SOS Children's Village Lekenik!
