In the introductory invitation message the president of the Association of SOS Children's Village Croatia Prof.dr.sc.Mariza Katavić emphasized that the document defined mechanisms appropriate action and protocols for the treatment of crises that will improve the rights and position of children.


The document was supported and welcomed also Mrs.Lidija Petrović, a consultant Ombudsman for Children, Dr. Mario Nobilo, director of the Board for multilateral affairs-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Mrs. Jadranka Kosor, Vice-President of Government and Minister of Family, Veterans and Intergenerational Solidarity, which said: "The government absolutely supports this document. Heat the house that the children in SOS Children's Village feel and learn to feel is the most heeded. Only in families children can learn to love, and one that does not learn, often later in life are prone violent and criminal behavior. "


The presentation was held by associates of the Association of SOS Children's Village Croatia who presented their work on the topic of children's rights, through their experiences and work. Mrs. Lidija Petrović, a consultant Ombudsman for Children Republic of Croatia, Mrs.Đurđa Ivković, programming head of UNICEF Office for Croatia, Mrs.. Durđa Petran, a consultant at the Center for Social Welfare Zagreb.


Child Protection Policy in the SOS Children's Village Croatia through the presentation of any of their work are presented, the pilot project Mrs. Gordana Daniel, pedagogical adviser Association of SOS Children's Village Croatia, Child Protection Policy in the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci, director Zoran Relić, and prof. Višnja Matić, psychologist in the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci, Child Protection Policy as our everyday life-document in practice, the SOS Kindergarten Lekenik, Mrs. Irena Pilko, director of SOS kindergarten and prof. Jasna Špoljarić, psychologist in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

The whole program was led by Mrs. Karamel Vukov-Colić.

Volunteers from A1 Croatia plant maple trees in our Village
