Oriflame furnishes children’s rooms in SOS Children's Village Lekenik

The international cosmetics company Oriflame Cosmetics held a press conference to talk about their humanitarian project for this year: donating furniture for children’s rooms in SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

The Swedish natural-based cosmetics company has once again proven its dedication to providing aid for children and operating in a socially responsible way. This humanitarian project marks the renewed collaboration between Oriflame Kozmetika and SOS Children's Village Croatia, which we hope will turn into a long-term partnership, both globally and locally.

On behalf of Oriflame, its Chief Executive Officer in Croatia, Mathias Jakobsson, presented the donation in the form of a gift voucher to the director of SOS Children's Village Lekenik, Mario Čović. The ceremony took place in the presence of numerous Oriflame sales consultants, as well as the representatives of SOS Children's Village Croatia.

Oriflame’s CEO in Croatia, Mathias Jakobsson used this occasion to point out that every child is entitled to security, childhood, ample play time and happy life. He also reminded us that Oriflame is the co-founder of the World Childhood Foundation – a foundation providing aid to children around the world and advocating the right of every child to social and intellectual development. Through this organization, Oriflame strives to help abused and abandoned children, and children placed in various institutions.

In his thank-you speech, Mario Čović, Director of SOS Children's Village Lekenik, said: “Children from SOS Children's Village Lekenik are growing up in a family environment filled with attention, care and love. Our Village houses provide a warm home for children and in our quest to give them a better life, we always look towards the future. Our optimistic outlook seems especially apt now that we are about to enter the holiday season. Thanks to our friends from Oriflame, this holiday season promises to be even happier now that we have beautiful new rooms, filled with furniture that our SOS mothers chose especially for their youngest children.”
