Regarding the Christmas donation, the president of Siemens d.d. Management Board Uwe Gregorius said: “It is important to stress that the decision to reallocate the funds for parties and presents to a charitable Christmas donation was made in unison by Management of our company as an expression of our permanent commitment to society. Globally, Siemens has been committed to promoting the welfare of society and corporate culture for 160 years already and it has also recently announced establishment of a non-for-profit Siemens Foundation headquartered in Munich, which will focus on technology, education, charity programs, science and culture. As before, the company will organize a Christmas party for its employees and a Christmas play for employees’ children.
