Ljevak Publishing and Bruno Šimleša for the children from SOS Children's Villages

Throughout the year, Ljevak Publishing and Bruno Šimleša raised funds for the children from the SOS Children's Village Croatia by donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for the “Loveology in Practice” lecture series.

“Loveology” author Bruno Šimleša also donated his entire fee for the lecture series in question.

All kinds of things get branded as love – we often call any strong attachment love, we confuse strong, even pathological emotions with love, we equate infatuation with love, we believe that it is possible to love someone at first sight, we try to change another person “out of love”… Loving someone, however, means accepting him or her with warts and all. We don’t have to cherish every last wart, but we have to love a sufficient number of them.

This vivid description is how Bruno Šimleša explained his view on love during his final lecture in his 10-part lecture series “Loveology in Practice”, which took place in the Europa cinema.

Throughout the year, Ljevak Publishing and Bruno Šimleša raised funds for the children from the SOS Children's Village Croatia by donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for the “Loveology in Practice” lecture series, while the “Loveology” author Bruno Šimleša donated his entire fee for the lecture series in question. The raised funds will help one SOS family replace their old refrigerator, washing machine and several smaller appliances that are an essential part of every household.

To thank the donors, two children from the SOS Children's Village Lekenik, Leon and Kristijan, performed a short play for them, garnering a huge applause and later accepting gifts from Petra Ljevak, the director of Ljevak Publishing, the lecture sponsor and Bruno’s publisher.
