SOS Children's Village Lekenik celebrates its 19th anniversary

SOS Children's Village Lekenik celebrated its 19th anniversary with a special entertainment program. Creativity and children’s love of playing always have priority at the SOS Children's Village Lekenik’s celebrations, and this year was no exception.

In his welcoming address, the director of SOS Children's Village Lekenik gave a brief overview of the most important events that took place in SOS Children's Village in the past 12 months. At certain points in his presentation, children showcased the work of their respective workshops.

Among those sending their best wishes were the Association President, National Director, director of SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci, Pešćenica’s parish priest and Office of the Croatian President, Mr. Ivo Josipović.
The president of the Lekenik Municipality Tourist Board, Mr. Marijan Crnkoci, presented the SOS Children's Village Lekenik with a thank-you note for the extraordinary contribution that the Little Theatre of Fairy Tales made to promoting Lekenik with its play Fiddler on the Roof.

After the entertainment program, which was designed as retrospective of recent events in the Village, we enjoyed the performances of our violin players and rock musicians.
After lunch, we cut the birthday cake and continued to enjoy a plethora of fun-filled activities.
