The Rose’s Citadel Order of Knights visit SOS Children's Village Lekenik

This Christmas, the Rose’s Citadel Order of Knights showed us how generous they are. Last weekend, the members of the Order of Knights collected sweets for the children in the SOS Children's Villages in Croatia.

“The idea came from our members. We know that abandoned children crave love, family and the warmth of home. We wanted to show them that there are many people in Croatia who think of them every day. We collected all kinds of sweets and we would like to thank everyone from Orahovica who took part in this drive.”

Every holiday season, the knights rehearse for several weeks and perform a different version of the play Winter’s Fairy Tale for Orahovica citizens of all ages. This time, they also performed the play for the appreciative children in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik, where they brought all of the sweets collected during their drive.

“I want our Winter’s Fairy Tale to become the tale of their lives, and make them feel loved and cherished by all of us”, said princess Rose, portrayed by Lana Milošević.
