Societe Generale Splitska banka donates

Through its Visa Revolving Card reward program, Societe Generale Splitska banka gave its clients the opportunity to use their reward points to support SOS Children's Village Croatia.

While talking to the children at the SOS Children's Village Lekenik Christmas party on December 20, Ms. Nelsi Rončević, a member of the Splitska banka Managing Board, handed over a donation check in the amount of HRK 75 000, and stated: “As the number of people in need of help keeps growing in all parts of the society, it is a joy to be working in an environment with people who really want to help and who really take action instead of just talking about their good intentions. For example, the employees of Splitska banka quickly raised HRK 214 000 by simply not throwing any Christmas parties. Instead, they donated the money to the NGO Palčić and made it possible for hospitals in Rijeka and Osijek to buy new incubators. And now Splitska banka and its clients are helping the children from SOS Children's Village and the Slava Raškaj School. I hope that this will improve the daily life of children and the extraordinary staff of these institutions, at least in the financial sense.”
