Mazda and SOS Children's Village still together in 2013

For the fifth year in a row, the friendship between SOS Children's Village Croatia and Mazda Croatia keeps going from strength to strength. Mazda has steadfastly helped the work of SOS Children's Village with its donations aimed at covering basic Village needs. This year began in the same fashion: by donating HRK 50 000, Mazda will cover the utility bills of several Village houses in 2013.

The donation ceremony itself was a relaxed, fun-filled affair: everyone joined in a game invented in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik, called broom hockey. Mazda representatives were pitted against children from SOS Children's Village Lekenik, and everyone enjoyed the day immensely…
In previous years, Mazda covered the cost of electricity, gas, water, phone and other utilities for several houses in the SOS Village and donated a Mazda 3 car to the SOS Children's Village, which still serves its purpose in the Village by taking children and youth to their daily activities. This year’s sizeable donation in the amount of HRK 50 000 will go a long way toward helping us cover the utility bills of SOS families in 2013.
Mazda Croatia is one of six national Mazda branches that support SOS Children's Villages in their respective countries with the help of Mazda Motor Europe. Annual donations depend on the needs of individual Villages, so in various countries they were used for a number of different purposes, such as paying utility bills, donating cars, rebuilding playgrounds and houses or funding trips that children from SOS Children's Villages make to see their biological parents.
