Preparations for masquerade in SOS Kindergarten

Preparations for masquerade in SOS Kindergarten last from the beginning of February...

Every day the children have an opportunity to make masks from various means. Children are able to draw, glue, mold masks. This year we have worked to cover the wall in the technique of ceramics.

Special technology that is this year, delighted all the children were making masks from plaster bend. Yes, a plaster bandage is not just for splints when something breaks, from it you can on balloon or model of the head create a mask. Satisfaction is the greater because it is quickly dried, and then you can easily paint with brush and paint.

These masks will be for a masquerade, through play and imagination we overcome all of our afraid, or confusing. On that day each child can be what usually can’t be.

Carnival gives "madness" that will reach on Tuesday 24th February. Children will visit the SOS Children's Village masked in various "monsters", knock on the door of each of our SOS house, and then walk through the village. On that day the guests come to our village and the mayor of the municipality Lekenik with baked donuts. This day the entire village will be lacing smell of donut, and according to good old custom, and the smell of sour cabbage.
