Foto-ethno workshop in Zelčin

On Saturday, 27th March Community Technology organized in Zelčin photo -ethno workshop for children of SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci

At the workshop we saw how to make a baker's oven - to us it was something new because so far we have not had a chance to see the bricks from the mud, nor masters of the binding material used mud mingled with straw and water. All of the time our task was to see, take a picture and ask what we don’t know about the old house aids.

After the seeing a big collection we have moved further where were a "šokica" making a bread and ten loaves, and by the way she was explaining what is needed for making bread. Showed us that all of the tools used for the baking of bread in a bread oven ("loparak, požarač", etc.). Then she makes a fire, put a wood, and started to bake bread. It was soon ready, and with them we had a real village breakfast, with a fat, red pepper, cheese and cream. After that we went to a meadow where the fire was burning, and we get a sausage and bacon grilled on it, it was very interesting.

Soon hot bread come, žganci, sour milk, fried eggs, scraps, steel homemade sausages, bacon and onion, so we have lunch together. After lunch we have a couple of hours played on the lawn, making rockets and walking. We must admit that we will have this day for a long in our memory because of all that we saw and experienced.
