Lidl donates to SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci

The supermarket chain Lidl Croatia handed a donation to the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci today. The donation valued at more than HRK 70.000 in children’s clothes, footwear, school supplies and creative supplies was accepted by the director of the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci Zoran Relić from the Lidl Croatia PR director Lana Jugo. This valuable donation continues the long-standing successful collaboration between Lidl and SOS Children's Village Croatia.

 The supermarket chain Lidl Croatia continues to honour and support the selfless work of SOS Children's Villages. Today, that support took the form of donation to the SOS Children's Village in Ladimirevci. Lidl Croatia PR director Lana Jugo handed the donation to the director of SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci Zoran Relić at a special event attended by SOS mothers and children. The donation is valued at more than HRK 70.000, and the SOS children can look forward to clothing, footwear, school and creative supplies, toys and other items.
“We feel exceptionally blessed that we are able to support the noble mission of SOS Children's Villages, which provide children with a loving home, happy childhood, education and preparation for independent life. This donation is the logical next step in our successful collaboration, and Lidl Croatia has every intention of continuing this practice in the future”, said Lana Jugo, the PR director of Lidl Croatia.
In his thanks, Zoran Relić, the director of SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci, emphasized the importance of ongoing and substantial help that Lidl provides for the SOS Children's Villages Ladimirevci and Lekenik, which ensures that children living in SOS families have everything they need for normal life.
SOS Children's Villages look after children without parents and parental care regardless of their race, ethnicity or religion, providing them with love and security in a family environment, and giving them a permanent home and education essential to a happy and peaceful childhood. SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci has been in operation since 1997. At the moment, it is a home to 16 SOS families and 75 children.

Volunteers from A1 Croatia plant maple trees in our Village

They brought the maple tree saplings, shovels and potting soil and as soon as they had their morning coffee, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work in SOS Children's Village Lekenik!
