When 'boys in blue' show kids what it means to be an active humanitarian

To honor the holiday spirit, the General Police Directorate and Osijek-Baranja Police Administration and their partners have organized a series of humanitarian-preventive-educational activities as a gift to the youngest residents of the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci.

In cooperation with their partners MAK Theatre, Policajci, Jumicar, NGO Breza from Osijek and Valpovo Red Cross, the police officers held a number of interactive workshops to make the holidays more fun for the children from the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci. At the same time, the activities were aimed at empowering the children and providing them with information on the importance of working together on preventive activities so that we can all contribute to creating a safe and secure environment.

Using the motto “prevention brings us together”, the enthusiastic kids from the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci demonstrated their skills on the Traffic Safety mobile testing range. After learning the traffic rules, they demonstrated them in practice. Afterwards they all took part in the interactive show Little Magicians in Action, assumed the roles of little forensic technicians in the workshop of the same name and they also familiarized themselves with the different tasks that police officers carry out. Together with the young people from the NGO Breza and Valpovo Red Cross, police officers and our kids showed everyone how to be active humanitarians.
