A day to become anything you want to be…

Cowboys, knights, prisoners and policemen, Vikings, witches, fairy godmothers, characters from cartoons and fairy tales, numerous versions of Spiderman and the the ever-popular Sponge Bob have “surrounded” the SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

The traditional Children’s Masked Ball in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik did not lack for innovative ideas, original costumes and good mood.

Children, SOS mother and Village employees worked diligently on their costumes and created a fun-filled atmosphere. After a boisterous parade of all the costume-wearing participants, the judging panel was faced with a difficult decision – how to choose the best costume. There were so many irresistible ones that the judges finally decided to give out 25 prizes for the best costume.

To top off the occasion, happy participants enjoyed the delicious doughnuts provided by the Mlinar Bakery, a longstanding friend of the SOS Children's Village Croatia who never fails to make the Carnival season more enjoyable.
