Hladno pivo and high school seniors – a winning combination for a great time

A seemingly ordinary Wednesday, March 9, turned into a party to remember, all thanks to the fantastic organizational skills, strong will and generous hearts of the students from the XVI Gymnasium in Zagreb.

These high school seniors managed to combine having fun with humanitarian work and thus help children without parents or parental care.

They organized a rock concert in the Katran Club, with popular rockers Hladno pivo as the headliners. Proceeds from ticket sales went to the children in SOS Children's Village Lekenik. The entire event was a great demonstration of how having lots of fun can lead to helping others and raise awareness of helping people in need among their peers.

The concert in Katran was opened by the high school student Nika, who wowed everyone with her singing. Up-and-coming young bands Kraya and Goatfish served as an opening act for Hladno pivo.

Stars of the evening, led by Mile Kekin, who was in high spirits, “rocked out” for an hour, while everyone in Katran sang along. Sweaty, tired, but smiling, our high school seniors went home with some special memories, not to mention the immeasurable feeling of joy for helping children in SOS Children's Village Lekenik. Thank you!
