First the paintings, then the exhibition

SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci has some great child artists in its ranks. Slowly but surely, they are discovering and revealing their talents at the art workshops organized by the artists from Likar.

The collaboration between the Association of Amateur Artists Likar in Osijek, Osijek Gallery of Fine Arts and SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci continues apace.

Four representatives of the Association, led by their president Nives Trauber, organized the second art workshop for the children in the SOS Children's Village.

Ten child participants produced some beautiful works in the span of two hours. The third workshop will take place in late August, at which point we will have enough paintings to mount an exhibition.

During this latest visit, the president of Likar Nives Trauber handed the Children's Village director fifty paintings created during the art colony held in Tikveš in early June.

“I would like to reiterate how grateful I am to the artists who put so much love for our Children's Village into the works they created while staying at the art colony. These beautiful paintings will elevate the rooms in our SOS houses and I am sure that they will motivate our children to develop their freshly discovered talents further”, said the Children's Village director Zoran Relić.
