Leaving the Bosch Festival of Technology on two wheels

The first Bosch Festival of Technology, FESTEH, took place on Thursday, October 19, 2017. SOS Children's Village Croatia also took part.

Invited by its longtime partner Bosch, Association SOS Children's Village Croatia was happy to attend the 1st Festival of Technology. This was also an opportunity for us to showcase our work and 25 years of our Association and to familiarize everyone in attendance with the family-based care that we provide for children in need.

Ljiljana Varga, head of Corporate Sponsorships, spoke about the work of our Association to the executives from big companies and highlighted the importance of corporate social responsibility in the form of corporate partnerships.

As SOS Children's Village Croatia partner, Bosch Croatia has been taking part in the Association project Adopt an SOS Family for the past two years. Through this scheme, they help cover the annual utility costs for one SOS family in SOS Children's Village Lekenik.

Of course, Bosch did not forget that we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. Generous as ever, they surprised us with an original Bosch eBike, an electrical bicycle with a Bosch motor. On behalf of Bosch, this valuable gift was handed over to our Ljiljana Varga by Kristina Šperanda Ferenc, head of Corporate Communications at Bosch for Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.

The wonderful gift was taken to SOS Children's Village Lekenik right away and our little bicycle virtuosos have welcomed it with open arms.
