SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci receives a generous donation on the European Day of Justice

On the occasion of the European Day of Justice, which took place on October 25, 2017, public notaries held an open-door day to educate the public on the ways of protecting the rights of vulnerable people.

On behalf of the Croatian Notaries Chamber, the donation in the amount of HRK 10.000,00 was handed over to the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci by Ms. Mandica Popović, president of the Joint Notaries Assembly of Osijek-Baranja County, Vukovar-Srijem County and Požega-Slavonia County.

“It’s imperative that we always consider the vulnerable populations in our society and that we help them whenever possible, which is why I am especially glad that we raised these funds for the children who live in the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci on this of all days”, said Ms. Popović during the handover ceremony.

“I am very thankful to Ms. Popović, who encouraged her colleagues in the Croatian Notaries Chamber to donate to SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci as a way to celebrate their special day, while also highlighting the needs of children without adequate parental care as a vulnerable group in our society”, said the director SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci Zoran Relić during the handover ceremony.
