Children scale the Visibaba peak, September ends fittingly

Children in the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci traditionally mark the end of September by hiking in the Velebit mountains.

In addition to three unforgettable days of hiking, they also tried their hand at rock climbing. They scaled the Visibaba peak, at 1160 m above sea level, with spectacular view of the Dabarski kukovi ridge and the Adriatic Sea.

On their way home they stopped in Karlobag to have one last swim in the sea.

This was a wonderful beginning of autumn for our children and we are deeply thankful to our friends from the Zanatlija Hiking Society on organizing the trip so flawlessly.
