We celebrated the European Cooperation Day

After accepting the invitation of the Republic of Croatia Agency for Regional Development, children from the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci participated in celebrating the European Cooperation Day in Sombor.

 The rich programme for the day began with an engaging play Jova the Dragon Stops by for Tea. After the play, children painted graffiti on a wall. They also painted on canvases and T shirts. Participants could take photos in the photo booth and have their faces painted by the face-painting artist.

After all the fun activities with paint, everyone who participated in the European Cooperation Day celebration received gifts and thank-you letters and sat down to have lunch together.

By participating in this creative get-together, our children and their peers from Sombor had the opportunity to use painting and art of graffiti to send a message that cooperation brings people together.

Speech therapy for all the children in Lekenik and Glina

SOS Children's Village Lekenik will continue to implement a project of speech therapy diagnostics, treatment and counselling for all the children in the Lekenik Municipality and the Township of Glina. So far, as many as 587 children have been included in this project.
