24-hour fairy tale, the Lekenik way

Another Millennium Fairy Tale Read-A-Thon has been concluded successfully. This wonderful event has been taking place regularly for the past ten years. The idea is to spend 24 hours in the Hermann Gmeiner Social Centre reading fairy tales around the clock.

Participating in the 10th Millennium Fairy Tale Theatre were around a hundred children from the Lekenik primary school, kindergarten and SOS Children's Village Lekenik, and we also welcomed dear guests from Iran – poet and translator Ebtehadz N. and opera singer Mouhamed R.

Children really loved the beautiful story ‘Atasaj’, which the guests and drama club director Rusmir Agačević read for them in Persian and Croatian.

At the end of the Read-A-Thon, SOS Children's Village Lekenik director Mario Čović thanked all the participants for attending.
