Christmas greetings, pleasant guests and valuable gifts arrive from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing

Representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, who have a tradition of visiting SOS Children's Village Lekenik every year, arrived recently to brighten our children’s holiday season.

Our dear guests did not bring only the best Christmas wishes on behalf of the Dean, Prof. Gordan Gledec, other faculty members and all students – they also brought many gifts.

This year they treated the children to a new laptop, Christmas gift baskets filled with sweets, office equipment and lots of T-shirts with their logo. Our dear guests took a tour of the SOS Children's Village and the SOS Social Centre, where we demonstrated one of our favourite activities – robotics. We invited the students to join our efforts to enhance children’s computer literacy and knowledge of robotics and to take part in the Croatian Makers project.

We look forward to our get-togethers in 2019.
