The legend lives on

The Black Knight and duchess Ružica came to the SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci again to perform a historical play for the little and big fans of the Winter’s Tale and bring back to life the spirit of Medieval times.

This time they were accompanied by as many as five Santa Clauses, who brought messages of love and peace, together with fruit gift baskets for SOS families to ensure they have healthy holidays. The Santas came on behalf of our many friends from the NGO Ružica Fort Order of Knights, Women’s Society Katarina Zrinski from Čačinci, Čačinci Tourist Board, companies Matešić d.o.o. and Obrt Knežević, FC Mladost Čačinci and basketball club Mladost Čačinci, Čačinci Cultural Society, and elementary schools ES Antun Gustav Matoš from Čačinci and ES Ivana Brlić Mažuranić from Orahovica.

The women from the handicraft section of the Čačinci Cultural Society made sure our little heroes and heroines would stay warm for the rest of the winter by sending them colourful hats, gloves and scarves that they knitted by hand!
