Happy International Family Day

In SOS Children's Village Croatia, we create families for children without parental care and we help them shape their future because we believe that every child deserves to live in a loving home.

International Family Day is celebrated every year on May 15. UN General Assembly established this occasion in 1993 to highlight the importance of families in the international community.

This year, International Family Day takes place in the time of one of the most challenging health and social crises ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a light on the importance of investing into and caring for the most vulnerable people in our society, which certainly includes children without adequate parental care.

Our SOS families remain as safe as ever even during this crisis, thanks to the commitment of our SOS mothers, aunts and all SOS Children's Village Croatia employees, as well as our numerous friends, donors and partners, who continue to support us during these challenging times.
